SagaZones
Mac App · Free
Snap your Mac windows into place.
SagaZones brings custom window zones to macOS. Set up your layout once, then drag any window into place while holding a key. Native, tiny, and free.
Free. macOS 14 and later.
Native, not bloated
No Electron, no web tech, zero third-party dependencies. The whole app is a roughly 580 KB bundle that sits at about 0 percent CPU when idle. Just Swift and native Mac frameworks.
Everything in it
Drag to snap
Hold Shift while dragging a window to reveal your zones. Drop it into any zone and it snaps into place instantly.
⇧ dragSpan zones
Hold Control while dropping to snap a window across multiple adjacent zones at once. Useful for wide layouts or a main content area that takes up most of the screen.
⌃ dragTemplates and a layout editor
Start from a built-in grid: columns, rows, 2x2, or a priority layout. Or open the layout editor and draw your own zones exactly where you want them.
Per-display layouts
Each monitor can have its own zone layout. Your laptop screen, external display, and any other connected monitor all keep separate configurations.
Keyboard control
Move the focused window to the next or previous zone, or maximize it to fill the screen, all without touching the mouse.
⌃⌥ ← →Gaps and launch at login
Set a gap between zones for a cleaner look with breathing room between windows. Enable launch at login and SagaZones is always ready when you sit down.
